I started out my writing career, writing stories only family members and friends would read. They were beautiful, southern, but I was still learning my form, my voice.
As years went on, I started writing splatterpunk, dancing through pages with blood-soaked hands and other bodily fluids (Oh Charlieš¤¢)Ā
But stories have a way of leading us back to the places that made us. For me, that's Louisiana. While my back log is soaked in blood and gore, my future work will be softer. Don't worry, the horror will linger on the pages. It will just take many different forms, such as romantic tragedies, vampires, cults, and Southern gothic horror. Always Dark, always southern.
